I am Clara Hill of CHill Podiatry. I work as an independent, self-employed, very busy podiatrist. In Stonehaven and Laurencekirk areas, I provide home visits.
I also provide clinic appointments available from The Barclay Clinic in Stonehaven, who you can contact directly to arrange a clinic only appointment.
In 2003, I qualified from Queen Margaret University College with BSc (hons) podiatry. Fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and a member of The College of Podiatrists.
It’s hard to believe that 20 years ago I started training! The time has flown by! It fills me with joy to think that 20 years later, I have a career that allows me to do what I love doing best….caring for people.
For the first 13 years of my post graduate life I worked for the NHS. Here I was a general specialist- that means I took care of day to day maintenance of people’s feet (cutting toenails, removing corns and callous).
A substantial portion of my work with the NHS was dealing with high risk patients (so those with vascular or blood supply concerns to legs and feet; people with diabetes; those with rheumatoid arthritis; those with loss of sensation to their feet; this list goes on). I am well versed in caring for more complex cases in foot health. If unsure just give me a call and I can soon put your mind at ease.
My main interest is in minor surgical procedures such as toenail removal for the treatment of painful ingrown toenails; or needling for the treatment of verruca. This brings the greatest source of satisfaction to me, to see a problem resolved permanently.
